Most of the staff didn't know what I meant when I said a bud vase. But it's all right, I found one eventually.

It feels really good. I didn't even realize how much ... I don't know, anger? something bad - I'd been holding inside me until I was able to talk to him face to face. And thank you, Reno. That means a lot to me.

Fear, anger, those emotions do shit ta yer spirit, ya know? They damage things inside ya, an' ya don't realize it until it's too late an' th'damage is done. It's a bad thing, really, but ya can't change it. People are people.

They do. The best thing about people being people, though, is that they have such capacity for grace, too. It's wonderful.

Amen ta that. Aerith. ..again, for what it's worth. ..for chasin' ya alla that time . . .m'sorry. I never got a chance ta say it back then, but I was. Was never anything against you, was just m'job. Hated it sometimes, but couldn't change it.

If this is a place f'r new beginnings, it's also a place ta make what ya did wrong right.

I know it was just the job, and I never held it against any of you. Shinra itself might be a despicable company, but it generally seems to hire decent people, even for the dirty work. Generally.

I hope more people take that attitude about things here, and less the "this is a prison!" one I've been seeing. Of course it's terrible we're trapped here, but some good has already and will continue come out of this.
