Summary Of Today & Plans Tomorrow
Today was definitely a cool portion of my weekend, and it's only about to get better. But first, today went down like this:
MORNING preliminary process (9:30 AM - noon): didn't do much but prepare for my day and practiced piano
JAZZ (TRIO today) rehearsal (1:00 - 4:00 PM): normally it would be a quartet, but Lucas was out of town. We're sounding pretty good, which is awesome
FOOD dinner (4:30 PM): I chilled at Carls Junior and had some grub
SLIGHT detour (5:00 - 5:30 PM): I hit up Hannah's house to temporarily steal her iPod USB cable (for my iPod was dead), thanks Hannapher!
FRATERNIZING with the best friends (6:00 - 8:00 PM): I met Derek and Leah at Panera Bread and we chilled there for a bit, then headed down to Taco Bell and finally Albertsons. Next Saturday we're planning on going to Santa Cruz, how tight is that!
TAIKI's arrival (9:00 - 10:30 PM): Taiki came over and we got our external hard drives and laptops to transfer about a thousand pictures, t'was cool
NOW: checking random things and updating; I had a few bowls of cereal--I tend to have breakfast the night before morning typically
(Interesting way of doing a "schedule" kind of entry, eh?) I don't know if I necessarily like it better this way, but it's quicker. Now let's talk about tomorrow.
The plan is for me to leave at about a quarter to nine o'clock, hit up Bart, and get to San Francisco around ten-fifteen. I'll meet Kat and Holst there (at Embarcadero), and we'll chill around Market Street for a bit. Around noon we'll hit up Japantown and hang out with Mayumi. It will certainly be awesome, I hope.
As for what I'm bringing, it'll be my cell phone and headphones, because it has an mp3 player so I'll listen to that on Bart; I'll just bring my camera, not the case, because I don't want to have to worry about it; and of course my wallet. I probably won't bring my sunglasses because they're nerdy and dumb. Yeah.
I just need to make sure I get an applicable homework done when I get home, which will hopefully be around six o'clock in the evening. Good stuff, I hope it all works out. My piano camp friends are awesome, I am so excited!
