Picture Post 016: Salvaging The Good Times
Photobucket has changed a lot of its layout and settings, even upped paid accounts to 5 GB; I find that very cool and useful.
I know I promised Disneyland pictures first, but as I've told some people, I have so many pictures, I could fill up a dozen picture posts. I wanted to get these ones posted, and at least have my posts somewhat in chronological order. Besides, with the near nine-hundred pictures that I took on that trip, only the latter portion are of Disneyland. The first post would be of UC Long Beach and the festival.
I'm trying to understand my camera more. Like, by reading the manual, checking out other settings, and really getting into composition. I'm not the most experienced photographer (I've only been doing it for three years), and with more experience, that's how I'll get better. You know how one gets better? Yep, with practice. I'm also trying to understand Photoshop better, thus resulting in everything wonderful.
This post includes lots of pictures from the first few days of this month (April 2nd - 5th in particular), and then some I just took a few days ago.
Derek and some of our friends hit up In-N-Out about three weeks ago.

Later that day I went to a party for one of my mom's friends. There were a lot of picturesque things at her house, including the assorted food.

That night we had the Heritigians with us too.

Prior to ordering the pictures this way, I didn't realize there'd be this many of Derek in a row. You must be used to him by now, no?
Don't even try in any way to convince me that he doesn't look something like American Idol's vote-off, Kevin Covais.
The light inside of the Heritage band room was pretty impeccable.

So funny to me since I hear it every day from this guy. He's like my mother from another... brother.
That rehearsal we ordered a pizza from Domino's. The sales rep Dimitri was talking to was definitely drunk or high or something like that, it was pretty funny.
Later that week there was a track meet.

This is Cynthia. At last week's meet against Freedom, she achieved the school's season record for the girls mile, finishing at 5:49. She's a trooper.

These girls are hilarious. Tori, on the left, has joined us on track this year, and Kathleen's a long-term veteran of track/XC, as this is her fourth and final season. I figured I better make the most out of this hilariously awkward situation.
I honestly don't know what they were thinking.

I remember the good ol' days when I did the long jump. It's a shame my record was only 13'. Then again, that was back in 8th grade.

Justin's a pretty good runner. He PR'ed on the mile last week with 4:49. It's pretty cool. Patrick decided to stray from the tennis courts and pay us a visit that day.

That day at lunch I ventured around the quad and ended up hanging out with Miss Katie Leppelmeier. She welcomed me by doing another one of her tempting licks.

This was fun. I always feel bittersweet saying things like this, but the type of feedback I get from this entry will either provoke me or revoke me from working on the Disneyland pictures post haste. Wait, did I just threaten you? I'm so funny.
