Seussical Rehearsal And Dixieland Practice

Apr 20, 2006 21:20

It's been a long day. It's been a really long day. I'm starting to feel the effects of incredibly insane exhaustion and I--yet again--still want out. I'm able to cope with it, but I can't wait until early May when most of this will be over.

I have a slight headache and my shoulders ache like no other; I seriously would pay money if someone gave me a very intense massage right now. My neck has so much tension in it I think it wants to scream.

To give an incredibly fast briefing of today, I made it to school on time again (cheers), and the English portion of the STAR testing was fairly easy. Lunch was nothing special, and my actual classes of chemistry and P.E. were fine. We did a few labs in chemistry, which was cool.

After school, while I should have just gone straight to "Seussical" rehearsal, I decided to be a good athlete and at least make an appearance to track. I was out there by 3:05 PM, and waited until 3:20 PM and only a few people slowly arrived. Then, Megan comes to tell us that there's a meeting in E-4; well thanks for telling us, Coach! (The sprinting/head Coach, of course--Peter wouldn't forget like that; he wasn't here today.)

Throughout the whole meeting we just basically talked about the meet yesterday (which we won, by the way: guys are 5-0 for the season so far), a new fund raiser, and some things for the Chico meet tomorrow that some got into. It was pretty much a wasted 3:25 - 3:55 PM time period of my life.

I had a bad headache going into the "Seussical" rehearsal, but nonetheless, I was fine. From around 4:15 - 5:45 PM we ran parts of Act II with the singers. I saw freakytiki81 and kiba_lover53, aww; haven't seen those cool little tikis and kibas in days!

I headed home, got some dinner, packed my keyboard into the car, and drove to Liberty. By a little before seven o'clock an almost complete Dixieland band was rehearsing. I was a little worn out already, but it was O.K. I got home tonight around 8:45 PM, ate a little snack from McDonald's, and here I am. The bed is calling my name out, so I'm going to join it very shortly.
