Today Leads Me Into Another Busy Night
Busy, busy, busy--that's all I ever am nowadays. Last night I fell asleep right after my update, around ten o'clock, and didn't wake up this morning till virtually now, seven-thirty. I had just as much sleep the night before, but I still felt just as exhausted. I bet this is what "catching up on sleep" is like.
The rehearsal last night was pretty stressful, but fun at the same time. Combining both KEYBOARD 1 and KEYBOARD 2 books is very difficult, seeing as they both have important parts. I'm still sight reading everything, so I'm obviously not playing to my potential since I haven't learned the music yet, and it was after a tiring track practice. Oy vey.
Then there's the fact that right after school today we have a track meet against Deer Valley, and Deer Valley is really good. Hopefully I don't need to stay for the entire meet, seeing as we have a concert at LMC that evening as well. I'm probably going to be driving myself, but we'll see how that turns out.
I don't have to worry about the actual concert, however, because "Watchman" on the piano is fine, I don't play "Mars", and Percussion 3 on "Pirates of the Caribbean" is manageable and I was able to get it in class yesterday. All should go well, but it's another late night that keeps me away from home for 14-15 hours. Seriously, I am just going to SLEEP this weekend. Case. Point.
