American Idol tonight was hilarious, for the thirty-five minutes I saw. Simon's getting his undies all up in a bundle, Paula was throwin' some insults at crazy times, and Randy was all over the place with his reactions.
That one girl, I believe her name was Anita Baker, was actually really good, and that's where Simon said it was "Not for me." I'm glad she went through to Hollywood, though, because she could probably go somewhere in the competition.
I felt really bad for that one 27-year old girl who looked like the Cher mother impersonator. She had such a nice personality, but I "wasn't feelin' the look" either, because she just looked like she was trying so hard. I was glad she took the "no" so well; I really hate the people who get all edgy and beg to go through to the next round.
Lastly, only eighteen people went through from San Francisco? Man, it seems like every year smaller amounts of people are getting through. Maybe it's like the radio host on B-93 was saying, that "more people are trying out for American Idol simply because it's... American Idol--to get on TV." Sadly, that's what is seeming to happen.
