Pre-Championship Cross-Country Party

Our cross-country team throws a pretty awesome party for it just originally being a "pasta dinner." Almost everyone was there at one time or another with the exception of Taiki, Matt, and Karla, I believe. ... Is it just me or is that really really odd? A pasta dinner? For runners? heh It's just that.. isn't pasta one of the fattiest things you can eat? Mainly due to the sauce.. and the pasta itself isn't helpful..

I don't really care.. haha.. just strikes me as odd. Odd in the sense like.. a bunch of olympic athletes pausing from working out to enjoy a nice McDonald's double cheeseburger and chocolate shake, heh.

Pasta is pretty good for runners, but they normally eat it the night before the race, since it takes a while for the energy to be released.

Mike stated it plain as day, yes. Shows how much you know about running :P. Pasta and spaghetti is THE number one thing to eat the night before the race. It has lots of carbohydrates, which are energy. But no, McDonald's is not a place where we'd pause to eat, haha.

heh.. it just got overplayed. So many nights of eating spaghetti.. I just got fed up with it. It's so boring.. and such a waste of meat. =/
