Things Change Fast / Some Awesome People

Things are changing so fast, especially within the past week or so.

1. Derek and I are not as close as we used to be. I don't hang out with him as much as I used to, nor do I feel the need or want to talk to him as much.
2. As stated last night, unless a miracle of happiness occurs in our marching band, I'm on the verge of quitting. It's not fun in my opinion, nor was it ever, and it's just a waste of my time.
3. I skipped zero period jazz band today because I was just too exhausted. I got home 45 minutes late because marching band didn't end at the right time, so there's the fault in that situation. Our jazz band sucks, and no one plays the rhythms right. Ms. Hurst doesn't try to help it, nor do the students. On the verge of switching out for next semester.
4. Apart from people being completely selfless, there are some people that just amaze me. Kyle, a person in my Spanish class, is someone I didn't even know about three weeks ago. But since we sit next to each other now, we talk a lot, and are partners for studying for the Spanish final. He's always been nice to me and is just such a good person--it amazes me. I'm glad there's people like that in this world.
5. There's not much to say about cross-country: I'm going to continue trying and hope that I'm not too sore each day after practice.
6. I wish I could associate with the people I don't get a chance to see. I hardly ever get to see Leah or Dimitri anymore--maybe once or twice a month now. Awesome people like them are why I look forward to weekends, so I can hang out with them.

Everything else is all right. Soccer refereeing has no issues, Power & Light should go well, and the rest of my classes shouldn't be that bad. As for right now, I need to take a shower and get ready for another day of school. Oh, the joy it brings upon.
