I'm Still Alive / Soccer Refereeing

Aug 06, 2005 18:35

DON'T WORRY.

I'm still alive. I've just been busier than a bumblebee lately. Life's hectic, it really is.

On Thursday I had: school, marching band practice, Dimitri's house, and then a cross-country run (in which I'm still recovering from). On Friday I had: school, marching band practice, home for a bit, then back to the City Park to hang out with Derek (went to Long's, Safeway, BK, and watched the concert that was in the park), and finally my piano teacher's house for a few hours. Today (Saturday), I refereed four games and am getting paid $70 for those.

That doesn't even conclude my busy weekend: tomorrow I'm going to church with Derek, and then his mom's picking us up from there and bringing us to San Francisco to see a 3 PM performance of "Stomp". That'll take the whole day, as well. Insane, I know.

Soccer refereeing this year will be really awesome, though. There's some days where I can make $120 in just one day (the whole day, but yes, only one day). In just the next two months I'm making over $1000. Say 'hello' to my new digital camera in two months. (Most likely it'll be the one the famous scottage_cheese has; I'm still searching around, though.)

Now it's dinner. A real update will come later, as well as pictures (I pinky-promise). Have yourselves a merry little summer.

~Chris
