Last night, I was baking buiscuts to go with dinner. They were almost done and I was about to take them out when I heard this pop. I look at the oven and their is a small fire ball inside. So, being me, I freak out, think the oven is going to explode and the house along with it, scream to my dad, who calmly turns off the oven and opens the door. The bottom element (burner) is glowing in one spot. Dad says some food must have gotten on it and proceeds to tell me not to freak out about stuff like that, just turn off the oven. I realize I do have two cookie sheets of buiscuts in there, but there was nothing to fall onto the element at that point, anything there would have burned up half an hour ago. So after I shakilly dish up dinner and we eat, I go back to the now cool oven and look inside. Something looks funny about that spot on the element, but not at all like food. We unscrew it and pull it out and discover that it had ruptured and there is a one inch hole in it. So, we currently have no oven until we can replace that part.

Now that you're done reading last nights story, please go to these websites. I found this from another friend, looks interresting.
