(no subject)
I just watched some kind of explosion take place in or near the Oregon City industrial district. Literally it was just a few minutes ago. I was in my dark room by the window about to plug in a string of Christmas Lights and I looked out the window and saw a white blob a little lower than where I would see Mt Hood on a clear day. That immediately struck me as odd, so I starred, it moved outward in a blob and my first thought was oh no, its a dirty bomb, we're all going to die, then I realized it was moving too slowly for that, but I heard many many sirons at the same time. The white smoke or steam or mix of both then went straight up and up and up in a huge colums. I told Mother and she came and looked too, then went outside with binoculars, but couldn't get much better of a view. I haven't heard anything on TV yet, but I sure hope there weren't too many workers there, if it was industrial, which I think it was given the location.
