Reason for recommendation: This is a dark story, but in the darkness I think that the way Edward and Bella feel about each other-- and how deeply they understand each other-- gets its hardest test, and shines the brightest as a result. It captures the real danger and horror elements of Twilight without watering them down, but also without sacrificing the romance even one tiny bit.
