Story: Sweet Catastrophe by jacyevans [PG-13]
Summary: She was intoxicating. There was no better way to describe her - intoxicating, breathtaking, devastatingly beautiful. And absolutely dangerous. Isabella Swan would be the death of him.

Reason for recommendation: I'm not usually all that big on fics that use music as a basis but this fic mix is stunning! Seven different moments in time, from the beginning of Twilight through to some set post-Eclipse, each of them vivid and beautifully done. On top of all that, the last line ties in perfectly with the first, with the story going full circle in a way.

Story: Drive Me to Distraction by jacyevans [PG-13]
Summary: Edward invites Bella to watch a movie at his house, but drives her to the point of distraction - and takes great pleasure in doing so. After enlisting the aid of the rest of his siblings, Bella decides it's time to give Edward a taste of his own medicine.

Reason for recommendation: As I said to jacyevans in my original review, this is gorgeous and cute and put a ridiculously big smile on my face when I first read it. In fact, it still does that whenever I re-read. I'm dubbing it a 'feel good' fic to read when I need a pick me up because it never fails to do exactly that!

Summary: Emmett Cullen is not a man of many words but what he says always matters. Edward Cullen learns a lot about life, love, and women from his older brother Emmett.

Reason for recommendation: While this is predominantly an Edward & Emmett sibling!fic, it's also a brilliant Edward/Bella piece. This fic shows Edward & Emmett's relationship through the years, as well as Emmett's brotherly advice/support in matters of women... including obviously the most important woman of Edward's existence. There's also a great scene between the two of them in the second-last part which then leads to some wonderful Edward/Bella. A lovely read! :)

Story: In Those Days, Blood Was Still Warm by calikalie [G]
Summary: No one could touch them here, they were impenetrable.

Reason for recommendation: This fic has one of my bulletproof kinks (for Twilight fandom at least) - quiet moments between Bella & Edward. It's just them in their meadow and nothing else, no outside influences. calikalie has done a fantastic job with the characterisation - this is easy enough to imagine being taken straight out of any of the books. It's beautiful, quiet and a feeling of contentment just flows through the whole thing. It may be short, but it's absolutely gorgeous.
