highlight of my day: i got a towing notice.
i parked at the umall to go to the gym and came back to find a glaring orange notice on my windshield. it reads:
Attention University Mall Visitors: University mall has encoutered the public using University Mall parking spaces for private purposes (i thought it was kinda odd how they said the public since it's just one person--me) Please be advised, UC Davis student parking and resident overnight parking is prohibited. Furthermore, if you are a customer of the mall, and are then seen walking off the property, you should not still be parked here.
Please consider this notice a friendly warning (isn't this oxymoronic) to make you aware of the standing parking policy at University Mall.
If you have received this remider, you license plate has been recorded (NOOOOOOOOOOOOO).
Any future offense will result in the towing of your vehicle per second code 22658 immediately.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation in making University Mall a convenient place to shop.
dammit! now i don't noe where to park. mayb i'll just get a permit. they're supposedly $40 a month. not too bad i guess. we'll see...stupid bureaucracy.
