2011 IIHF World Championship Winners FINLAND!
I was listening most of the game on radio but the commentator was ok, so it wasn't bad. All those who were in the bus cheered and clapped when we made goals! I managed to get to see the last three goals and what goals they were!
And it was so delightfull to see how pissed off the Swedes were! [Nothing personal]
All the big cities in Finland have gone crazy!
Everybody is talking about Granlund's goal, they played the Finnish-Swedish-commentators version of the goal and oh yeah! He's as awesome as Mertaranta, the Finnish commentator who is the best in the world!
Kai Kunnas says that even the Russians in the audience cheered for Granlund! Awesome!
Even though it was the first goal against Russia, I firmly believe it was our winning goal. It cracked Russia's backbone and turned the game completely to us! And don't forget the guy is just 19 years old! Who knows what he'll become!
Aftonbladet [Swedish newspaper] is filled with bitternes from the players. They refer to the game as a nightmare. *diaboliskt skratt*
"We collapsed" was another title.
