[EDIT]
I'm terribly sorry for killing your friends page ;_; Didn't notice the false code as my computer was having a fit last night...
[/EDIT]

Updating as the jigsaw refused to work...

I just completed my "technology center". Brought GC from fonulyn's room x) Maybe I'll play some MarioKart tomorrow :D Have to take a picture of this nerdy heaven some day..

First week of the experimental part of my thesis is behind. Results: I've prepared samples for XRD and learned how to use the machine [rather simple, hardest part is to remember where to save the results], learned how to make methane combustion catalyst, learned how to prepare a sample to SEM and how to put it in the machine [it's rather expensive equipment, don't really want to fuck around it]
My instructor was really enthusiastic as the catalyst turned out to be quite nice. The catalyst became just as we wanted it to be, now we just have to check out if it works as well as other catalysts. I really hope it does, as it would be rather significant, because one could use less of the active metal [which tend to be rather expensive] and still have the same methane conversion. [All of you have dropped from the carriage at this point, if you have even bothered to read this far x) I just can't help it, I'm too excited about it =D]

On Monday I'll make the second catalyst and do the first methane combustion with my aged catalyst. It's not that difficult, more about technique... My guts are making volts already.. But my instructor is nice and good looking, so I'll get through it just nicely. Better to have some faith and not to be afraid of it!

Okay... maybe something else than chemistry now.. I've been cycling this week daily, except on Wednesday, it was raining like hell. I've found two really nice spots. Yesterday I cycled this path in the forest and I ended up on a hill. [Had to push my bike in the steepest parts.] First there was nothing to see, I was a bit disappointed, but I continued to cycle in the narrow, rooty paths and I got rewarded! ^___^ There was an awesome scenery to some farms some kilometers away and the sun was shining to the forests back there.. Too bad I didn't have my camera back there, but I think I'll go there again ^^

Today I was wandering to the same direction where I was yesterday, but turned to a different path. There was this place for camping fire and I managed to tremble with my bike and now I have a nice bruise in my left calf.. But I continued and cycled further. Found some nice paths and cursed once again for not having all terrain bike.. I really want one.. But, yeah.. I was on this one asphalt road and looked to my left and noticed there was some water there. Thankfully I noticed a path going through the forest to the water and I found one really pretty pond! I walked along the "beach" and decided to go there tomorrow with a book and some food to spend the day off ^_^ I'll take the camera with me too and take couple pics.

The night before my wrists really started aching... I can't remember when they've been in that bad condition :( Yesterday I bought some painkiller gel [and spent my last food money for it x)] Now they are better, thankfully. Otherwise I'd chop them off...

As I mentioned earlier I've been learning Slayer's Raining Blood, and I have to say that I'm pretty good at it. Not compared how they play it, but on my level I think I'm doing pretty well. I can play all the riffs [well not the outro, but it's just tremolo, haven't really been focusing on that] and if I have the tab book open I can play the song from the beginning to the end. It sounds a little bit weird as firstly I play it on the acoustic and secondly I'm not that fast xD But I'm really proud I've managed to get this far! I've also played AC/DC's Big Balls and I'm getting along with the barré.. It doesn't work every time, but more than before.

Now after this huge babling I could either play some MarioKart or to read the book about catalysts which my instructor gave me to read. [There's something terribly wrong with that sentence, but I really don't care :D] Actually I'm just gonna go to bed... dead tired after trying to post this for two hours... thank you Opera for being a bitch..

Uuuu! And hopefully next week I'll watch Lord of the Rings extended editions with my friend. I can finally experience the hifi PA of his xD

And of course, Happy Birthday to fonulyn!
