What is this I don't even-

...

I seem to have broken my laptop. You know. The one I've had for less than two months or so?

(SIGH) This is beyond frustrating. At least the thing is still functioning - it's just a damn mouse key. But scrolling/clicking on things using just the touchpad kinda sucks. Not sucky enough to blow another few hundred dollars on another laptop, mind, but still sucky.

What's worse is that originally the problem was pretty minor. The key was just sticking really bad. The problem came when I tried to unstick it. Don't ask me how, but the thing just slid to the left and for the life of me, I cannot move it back. I tried with my fingers until I about rubbed my thumb raw, and then I tried nudging it with the prong of a fork. Still won't budge, and it's irritating the crap out of me, because now there's a pretty sizable gap between the buttons. Further attempts to repair it seem to just make the whole computer freak and shut down on me, so they'll be avoided for now.

If I ever get the money again to fix it, I think I'm going back to the HP. I really liked this computer, but the design always did strike me as clunky in places, and this seals the deal. Unless I become a wizard at navigating the nets and such with just the touchpad, anyways.

Still going to try and fix it, obviously, but if for some reason I suddenly vanish it may because I somehow made it even worse and can't get the laptop to turn on. Happened for twenty minutes earlier, so for all I know it could happen again.

frustrations, computer
