Newsweek, The Koran, and Urine
Newsweek said, "Wow, look at what our government did! They should investigate this!"
Our government said, "No, we didn't. You guys are assholes and we're investigating you and your journalistic integrity practices."
Newsweek said, "Fine, we'll take it back."
Our government said, "Well, there may have been some mishandling, but not toilet flushing."
Newsweek had nothing to say.
Our government has now said, "On March 25, a detainee complained to guards that "urine came through an air vent" and splashed on him and his Quran, and that an unspecified number of Qurans got wet, and in a 'confirmed but ambiguous case,' a two-word obscenity was written in English on the inside cover of a Quran."
Newsweek has yet to react. Our current administration has yet to stop sucking. Have they done anything right? Honestly, how have I benefitted from having this footnote of a president in office?
