1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
Made myself a full-length dress/outfit.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
probably not, I tend to not make them.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
mark and megan, I get to see the little one every day

4. Did anyone close to you die?
not this yeay

5. What countries did you visit?
none, just stayed home

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
a trip to wisconsin

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
march 23 because it took way too much thought

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
getting a 4.0 on my 16 credit semester in fall

9. What was your biggest failure?
none that I can think of.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
no

11. What was the best thing you bought?
my future, finally threw a few thousand dollars into savings!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
can't think of any, I'm sure alex has done many things that I celebrated

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
probably wouldn't be proper to mention it here

14. Where did most of your money go?
eating out, I really need to stop doing that so often

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Spring PDF and the things we did there

16. What song will always remind you of 2005?
none

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? so much happier
ii. thinner or fatter? a bit bigger due to being very depressed last xmas
iii. richer or poorer? no difference except there is now money in my savings account

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
sewn more, traveled to wisconsin, read for fun

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
nothing really, I'm happy with what I've done

20. How did you spend Christmas?
Traditional xmas breakfast, with my mom in town too, presents, mom to airport, dinner with Chris's mom.

22. Did you fall in love in 2005?
yes.

23. How many one-night stands?
none... good thing I didn't fill this out last year, hehe.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
I was really into the beginning of the sopranos but it sort of fizzled out at the end.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No thanks.

26. What was the best book you read?
Good question... I'd need an actual memory to recall any.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
none, I'm not into music at all.

28. What did you want and get?
love

a winning lottery ticket

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I'd have to say that the Woodsman was the best one that I've seen this year. But for a favorite, that would be an play/musical actually, Oliver! at the Olney Theatre.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I did not go to Mt. Everest like I wanted, they closed. Instead we went for sushi, damn that was a long time ago.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I've gotten so much this year, I need nothing more. I've gotten a great deal more than I've shared yet with anyone and looks like it'll be 2006 before I do.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
I started to wear jeans again, I didn't realize how much I'd missed them. Comfortable, casual.

34. What kept you sane?
smiles and lack of stress.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Well, it has really been Chris Noth this year from Sex in the City. Just watched "The Perfect Man" that he also played in, and I'd have to say it was really the character in Sex in the City because he didn't have the same lure in that film.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
oh the list could go on and on, sadly I'm turning to the head in the sand approach to prevent the ached of disbelief and disappointment in what is happening.

New PDFers, wow!

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005.
Find a way to reduce/remove stress to improve the quality of life. Just surviving it ain't really living.
