So the current update:
Chapters 1-6 have been sent to the advisor. Chapter 7, which is the short integrated discussion, conclusion, and future directions section is all that needs to be completed. And maybe some more data analysis to see if I can add something interesting to Chapter 5.
I'm just worried that the advisor won't get the revisions done in time to get it out to the committee with two weeks time before the defense. That day is Wednesday. I'm also worried that one or two of the committee members will get upset that they are only being given 2 or so weeks. Some guidelines say a month, I wanted three weeks, half my committee says 2 weeks is more than enough. 2/3 of them already know everything in it anyway; even my outside member knows all of the data because she happened to be one of the reviewers for my manuscript. The other 2 are not in my specific line of research, but are on the committee because they fill requirements (Temple Physiology Graduate Faculty) and don't really know much about it. Oh well. I just hope Ken gets this back to me promptly and with his schedule who knows.
