I am Kristine, 23, from Norway and last week I finally started my bachelor of physics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology:) I went to a space technology secondary school but didn't feel at home with the technical parts. I did however love the theoretical parts we had and I love space, so my plan is a Master degree in astro and particle physics. If I make it that far of course.
Since I did a vocational secondary school I was the only girl for 3 years. This week we worked on a project in mechanical physics about rotating objects. My group had 5 girls and 2 guys, all standing around going 'that is so cool' when we spun a bucket of water, haha. It is very nice not being the only girl who is interested in this stuff.
Any other physics chicas around?
