Forgot to mention in the last post, I've started my garden. I've got oregano growing in a pot in my window and have started to clear off a space for lettuce and spinach in my tiny front yard. Since the landscaping material of choice in my apartment complex is rocks, I've picked out a bunch. Maybe I can arrange them on the borders or something.
I'm also considering raking the pine needles and leaves in my yard into a pile and doing some low maintenance composting. The soil in the yard is so bad that I'll have to buy a bunch of topsoil, but maybe I can make it better for whoever lives here next year.
