Monster's second agility class
Tonite was Miss Monica's second Agility class. She was good again. Tonite we introduced her to the weave poles. At first she really wanted NOTHING to do with them, but soon figured out they were easy and fun to run thru really fast!! She didnt remember that the tunnel wouldn't eat her, but then she remembered it was a safe thing. 8)
The other dogs in the class are all pretty little, so unfortunately, the jumps arent high enough to really challenge the Monstergirl. She steps over most of them rather than actually jumping, but it will come.
Tryss, the Queen of Quite A Lot, did a few rounds at the end. Boy, does she still have it. She will be 5 years old on Feb. 8. I cant believe its been 5 years already. The Princess of the Pillows has such a hold on my heart...I cant fathom life with out She who Must Be Perfect. 8)
Tomorrow night is conformation class. Keats and Monster will be going, as the show is this weekend. Keats is an old pro at showing...but it wont hurt him to have a little refresher course. I have to use a handler for Monster girl for Saturday, so handing over the leash to him tomorrow night will be difficult. Hopefully he understands her spirit, and can bond with her well enough to do well in the ring.
Monster got her 'show groom' on Saturday. Man, is she gorgeous. She went to a fun match Sunday and did REALLY well. She is growing up nicely. I keep telling her "I know there's a nice dog in there somewhere, deep deep down!" 8)
