The weekend that flies

This weekend flew by.

Friday night I got off of work, and headed out to the OWbN game, to visit for a bit. I got to sit with a lot of people that I see at Ling, met some new people, and had a lot of laughs. It was a nice time. I got the itch to start playing vampire; Masq, right there and then. But I had told Frannie that I would be home.

People at game were sweet, understanding why I was leaving and not playing. Phrases like; "Girlfriend over Roleplay huh?" or "Hot girlfriend or roleplay, man, your life is hard huh?" followed me out the door. Saw a baby bunny with Michael, and headed for home.

Had a nice night with Frannie. We hung out at the house, then went out for ice cream at Friendly's.

Saturday I was up early in the morning, and off to Michael's house. We cut up carpet, bag it, then clean up what was underneath it. I really enjoyed the process, the company and wished I could have stayed longer. I like fixing things, so I can learn about the process. I ended up leaving around 2pm, and there was still a lot of work to do. What made me the most happy; the owner of the house, and those who lived there, saying that they could smell a difference already. Improving something or leaving something nicer that I found it, always makes me happy.

I went home, hooked up with Frannie and went out to my Aunt's house. I haven't been to this house before, and was blown away at how nice it was. We spent a lovely evening inside, trading tales, and catching up. Talking about things that have happened, what is happening, and plans to come. I had a little too much fun, clearing 3 bottles of red wine, and a bottle of champagne. I asked if we could spend the night, and the Aunts were more than welcome to have us.

Didn't sleep so well. First time on a water bed since I was a little child. Frannie tells me that I said some funny stuff while I was out, I don't remember any of it, but it was funny. :)

Sunday we had breakfast, said goodbye to the Aunts, rushed me to work, then home for a quick shower, and right back out to Hartford to meet Michael and Ashley. Lunch at the Halfdoor (always recommended) then off to solve the puzzles in Ling.

I want to tell you all, I suck at riddles. I was proud that I had figured out the one I had, and knew where we were going, even if I didn't know why. I don't think I solved anything else yesterday, but I had a lot of fun being out in the sunshine with good friends and loved ones.

Got back to the house with enough time to cool my heals before bed.

A great weekend, and WAY to short. The fun ones always seem to do that. A huge thanks to everyone who made it fly by.
