I think I am due a post to the journals so here I am. Right now I am watching True Blood on HBO. I am still following this show and not sure why. I guess I want to see what happens with it so it does succeed on that very basic level. It piques my plot-based curiosity. I do think they are a bit killing happy for the sake of killing and could draw ( Read more... )

We have to figure it out. I anticipate my mom being really defensive about it. Oh well. Gotta get to it.

Sorry about the job, but the right one will come along. Sometimes it helps to have a few recent interviews under the belt anyhow, it gets you into interview mode for when you really need it.

I had the elderly driver thing with my dad and it was definitely not fun because he was convinced he was managing fine. Just need to be understanding but firm. If you can help her find ways to structure her time on the road it'd be great but it's harder to learn new habits when you're older.

I am always up for keeping my interview skills sharp so that is a bonus.

My mom is a bit tough to deal with so I am not looking forward to that. She gets angry and upset so will see how it goes down. I think with two of us she will have to listen. Augh.

I am looking forward to time on the east coast and seeing family and friends.
