Bunday and Christmas Update
Here is a little treat for our Christmas weekend post. A santa e-card that I grabbed from a site. Woo.

In other news...we had a really great Christmas here. We opened presents at my SIL's house here in Manchester and what was really great is that my brother could participate live via SKYPE from Kuwait. This was totally awesome. He opened his presents over there and could watch over the web as we opened here. We set the laptop up in the living room and did that. He is such a goof and really hammed it up for the camera there (he has always been a goof) but it really was like he was there with us there. The next best thing really. It is so great of the army to give them access to that tech and his morale seems good. He said they got full on Christmas meal over there and he was in good spirits over there. He is an XO (commanding officer) so that is cool.
I got the following -- bookstore gift card, vera bradley cosmetic bag with goodies (moisturizer, etc), business card holder in cool design, wallet, PInk cd (latest), hand made shawl from my mom, t-shirt from my brother (army logo etc), Macy's gift card, vera wang winter scarf, small purse and other things.
We had a full on brunch at my SIL's house and she is an awesome cook the menu was as follows:
deviled eggs, bacon wrapped scallops with water chestnuts basted in maple syrup (so good)
french toast (made with half and half, cinnamon, nutmeg and soaked overnight)
blueberries, strawberries.
Just great. Then we went home and my mom and I did a mellow exercise walk. We needed to do that as we had another meal coming up. My SIL and niece were coming over for a full on steak and potato meal later. Ha! I am glad that I make Christmas an amnesty day and can eat whatever I want.
Anyways. We had a great time and much fun was had from all and we got to spend time with my brother. My other brother called from Los Angeles. We decided that we would have a whole family reunion next year and all of us would come home for the next big holiday.
