Saturday Evening Post...

So today I had a really nice day. Hung around the house this morning and then went to a co-worker's house for the afternoon. I helped her work on her computer and she made me the best tuna sandwich like EVER. She put water chestnuts in there, almonds, scallions, curry, celery and other things. Best ever. I consulted with her a little bit on clutter or more accurately, de-cluttering her house and what might work for her studio apartment. Some rearranging of her furniture might work and closed cabinetry as opposed to open shelving which exposes the clutter to the eye. Her place is a hard space to work with as it is one room with bath, closed and kitchen so every little thing adds up there. She does have a nice big garage so she can use that to store things and create an organizational scheme. I think we came up with some solutions.

Then we went for a really nice walk at the Richmond Marina which used to be the Richmond Shipyards. It is also the site of the Rosie the Riveter Memorial, a walking memorial with photos, quotes and structures from the woman's war effort during WWII. Really good. We walked part of it and I would like to go back to see the whole thing. Just great. I am interested in that time frame and the monument and path was very well done.

So that was my Saturday and this is my Saturday evening post...
