What happened to the time?
I haven't been on LJ in a very long time, because I haven't had the time. And yet I don't understand why. If anything, I should have more time than I've had in years, considering the cut in hours I've had at work over the past 2 years. And it's not like I'm investing a ton of time in something new.
I remember days when I'd hit the end of the internet and be forced to face the horror of finding something worthwhile to do in the real world for a few hours before I got ready for work. And that was when I was working six days a week. Now it seems like a chore simply to check facebook and clear out my message center at deviantART so it doesn't pile up. I don't even read most of my e-mail, anymore. It's not like the volume has changed. Something about me has changed. Am I reading slower? Am I going into fugue states? Am I being abducted by the little grey dudes?
Am I the only one this is happening to?
Anyway, I've realized that it'll take months to catch up on all the stuff you guys have been writing. So I'm just going to read what's up on the front page and stop there. Hopefully I'll get caught up with you guys again.
