I think that college keeps people from doing what they want to be doing, while giving them the idea that they're not treading water and wasting precious time.
If you have something you want to do, that requires a specific knowledge you can only learn at college ( doctor, lawyer) than I understand.
There are a million ways to get educated without paying for structured classes, libraries, going to class like you're a student and getting that education for free... if it's truly the knowledge you're after.
