Muppet Babies; a talking pig, frog, bear, dog, what-ever, rabbit, live in a nursery. Their caretaker, a mysterious women whose face we never see. Nothing is known of her, of the house, of their reason for being there in the first palce. She only comes into the nursery to dispense treats and stories, to placate them. They're left to fend for themselves mostly. Venturing outside of the nursery is rare and when done; with great trepidation.
In their later years they are un-aware of their shared upbrining, replacing fact with fiction.

Such great imaginations can only be a product of severe trauma.

Muppet Babies, we make our dreams come true
Muppet Babies, we'll do the same for you
Kermit: When your world looks kinda weird and you wish that you weren't there
Piggy: Just close your eyes and make believe and you can be anywhere

A cry for help ignored for years.
