Baby Eli's a water baby! We went up north this weekend to visit the in-laws and they live on a nice lake. We all went swimming-Eli liked sitting in this little inner tube with me pulling him around. And he sat on shore in about an inch or two and played in the wet sand. He loved it.
We also took him in the boat for some quick fishing. At first he didn't like it, then we was fine, then he got bored. Plus, we didn't catch anything that we could keep, so it wasn't all that much fun. It was nice seeing grandma and grandpa- Eli likes them alot. Grandma was giving him cookies and sweets left and right though because "she's a grandma and she can" Yeah well she doesn't have to deal with him afterwards.
I bought him a cute little plastic pooh trike and it blows bubbles and sings and honks...he loves it.
Ok,this whole entry has been about Eli! He's definitly a sweetheart. Always the life of the party.
Larry and I got to stay out in the camper because the great grandma and his dad's sister stayed in the house. But that was FINE by us-they have a super nice camper with a queen size bed and tv, radio, bathroom, everything. Ha-his dad was making jokes about "when the camper's a rockin',don't go a knockin'."
We skipped out of church and I thought it was going to be a big deal because his parents are pretty religious but they didn't say anything about it. That was nice. We're not the church goers. We go every once in awhile like on xmas and easter... and about two or three other times. That's plenty to me. I've never been super religious...I mean, I believe in God and everything but I don't think I'll go to hell if I don't go to church every single sunday.
ANYWAYS...I have an interview wednesday for a department store-totally yuppie I know but whatever-it'll give me extra dough and it's close. I am going to tell them that I have a full time job and a family so I don't want to work EVERY weekend but I will work some. They have to understand that. I'm still not really looking forward to another job but I am looking forward to being able to pay off more bills and still be able to go to a movie once in awhile. I talked to my mom last night and she's all pressuring us to buy a house. She surfs the net and has done some "looking" for us-which is nice I guess but for some reason she thinks we can afford a $180,000 house-yeah right.
