Yes. I know. Long time no see. Ah well, life goes on and here I am back again, and as a forewarning, rant mode will be engaged with a furvor the likes of which the world has never seen. I kid you not, good sir. Well, obviously, I've been busy, work has been taking up a good amount of my time as well as taking most of the spunk out of the time

It's not a matter of the government being "right;" instead that is a matter of what is lawful or unlawful. Right and wrong involves morality, which is an entirely separate entity from laws.
Aside from that fact, violating laws to change them or whatever is ridiculous. There are lawful channels for which things to be resolved. For instance, let's say that someone decides to take your last sentence literally, and furthermore, they think killing is "right." From your viewpoint, they should be able to do it, since obviously the government must be wrong since one person disgrees. Or perhaps, even though it seems unthinkable, maybe you are the one wrong? I'm not saying whether you are or not, but rather, maybe you should just consider that you are not always right.
You are not an adult, you are not mature, and you are woefully ignorant of many things. Don't worry, it's a part of growing up. Everyone thinks they are mature and knows everything, and then after making several mistakes and some time, you realize that you have grown so much more than what you previously were.
Since I'm not an anime addict, I don't know anything about those characters. However, it seems to me that you mentioned the creator of a series separate from whatever series was initially in dispute. If that is not the case, then all of this may not be relevant.
I haven't really taken the time to think seriously about fan-fiction, but I guess I will eventually. I hope nothing like that would happen to any characters I create (this is in regards to the whole realm of fan-fic, in case those characters actually are that way, since I know not all characters are written about in character). If you respect the characters, the universe, and the creator, it seems to me that the least you could do would be to keep things the way they're supposed to be. Don't start with any homophobe comments either, because I mean in all cases. I wonder how some people would feel if homosexual characters were made to be heterosexual. That doesn't seem right to me either. It's like making you out to be something that you're not, such as an evil troll that feeds on infants when most likely you're not. I hope.
Anyway, you should drop the whole notion of being rebellious if you're trying to also seem mature. That sort of thing comes across as the juvenile idea which it is. There are better ways to go about such things. You should also stop being so self-righteous. It is ridiculous to accuse people of being close-minded when you are exactly the same way about the issues.
You may also want to learn a little about the law and morality and the difference between them before entering into a debate about such things.
Finally, if you prefer to chat over AIM, then you should chat over AIM, rather than continuing the debate in a public forum. Instead of just telling the other person to do it, maybe you should take the initiative of doing it yourself.
