Questions from Dustin:
1. Alot of people in OSCR (Office of Student Computing Resources) call you Tyler. Does that piss you off? Or do you prefer Tyler to Ty?
No, it doesn't. I'll give away a little secret about myself. I don't hate the name Tyler, I just prefer the people who are close to me call my Ty because it's sort of like my "cool" name. So if I tell you to call me Ty instead of Tyler, think of that as me accepting you as good friend, and not just another unimportant face.
2. Of all of the OSCR staff members, which do you feel is the LEAST useless?
Hmmm... That would have to be a close tie between Limell and Chris K. Both of them actually have experience, and although they make mistakes (and a lot of them) they both have a very admirable knowledge base.
3. Of the three videos we made as a team in media (Lucas the Teenage Years, Newscast II, and Nerd Love), which was your favorite, and why?
The Newscast, because we spent a lot of time on it, it had some classic moments in it, and who can not like Joey getting his face slapped endlessly by Vivian?
4. What is your favorite Anime series, and why?
I always like RahXephon a lot just because it was the perfect mix of action and drama, and it had one of the most interesting stories of any anime I've ever seen. You have to take the time and watch it at least twice in order to get all of the hidden pieces of the plot, though.
5. In your opinion, what is the best video/computer game of all time *and why)?
Man, that's a super hard question, because I've played a lot of good games. But, if I had to pick a game as my favorite of all time I would probably say the first Grandia, for Playstation. I have never seen another game that had character developement and a story as good as in Grandia. When you play that game for the first time, you are absorbed into the funny, cartoony, yet dramatic world with a great sense of adventure. The graphics are quite outdated for todays standards, but still well within the realm of something good enough to play again without losing any of the game experience. And, one of the most important things to me in any good game, it has great music scores, good sound effects, and most importantly, wonderful voice acting. If you ever want to play an awesome RPG, you should deffinitely try Grandia.
