Eh? LJ has games now?
I guess that's interesting. I used to play online games quite a bit, but not so much anymore. Most of my gaming I do on PS2 or Gamecube in between all my busyness. ...I just hope LJ doesn't become Facebook. World Wide Web, I think we're good with just one of those.
Allan, I'm happy you suggested a meetup at my store to be a sister group to the original St. Mary's Gameboarders. I'll be stalking you to give the address, the Marketplace website, Mom's and my cell phone numbers, and a photo of the place very soon!
Today, I managed to complete the video challenge thing for my ISFJ personality. Will put it up later. I still have a couple of old YouTube vids to share for right now.
First one is self explanatory, lol. My cat just loves to be silly during playtime.
There's also this new game she likes to play in which I toss a little toy rhinoceros to her on my bed and she starts batting it around with her paws and then attacks the covers. XD
On this next video, my mom and I teach this person who came only once to the Deale Group how to play Forbidden Island. Got this as a Christmas present! It's very fun to play, and it goes from 2-4 players. It's a co-op game in which either the players win, or the game wins. The objective: to go around the island, shoring up parts of it along the way to save the four treasures and then fly off the island until it either totally sinks, floods all the way up to the skull and crossbones, the helipad sinks and disappears, or both temples of one treasure sink and disappear. That's basically the four different ways to lose.
I've played this up to maybe 5 times and it never played out the same way. And twice, Mom and I began the game with the flood tide meter starting just one mark above the starting point. It surprisingly gets harder or ends very quickly from there. Once, the helipad already sank and disappeared before we even got to save one treasure! A very quick Game Over, lol.
