There's a weird smell in my dining room and kitchen. Dunno what it is. I guess we'll figure it out soon because they're coming to demolish the kitchen on Monday. The floors were put down in the living room and were finished yesterday. I've been hopped up on the polyurethane for the past 2 days. This weekend will consist of moving furniture from the dining room to the living room and from the kitchen to the dining room. There's mad crap we need to throw away. If anyone needs any house related items let me know cuz we've got a lot of stuff in this tiny little house.
Man it smells in here.
Oh it's almost time for a Home Depot trip. We have to pick up a faucet, sink, and tile for the back splash. You know those sinks where one side of the sink is small and the other side is regular size (making it smaller than a sink with two regular sides?) Why don't they make ones where one side is small and other other side is 1.5 times the size of a regular side? Did that makes sense? Anyway I want one like that. No one seems to make that tho.
I went food shopping today and wanted to go into Starbucks to get some iced coffee of some sort. I couldn't do it tho. I couldn't justify paying $5 for a small little drink. Instead I went to Dunkin Donuts to pay less money for more drink. Upon entering the store I discovered the holiday coffee flavors: Caramel Creme and Mocha Almond. Even though it took FOREVER for the guy to make it, the mocha almond one was delicious. Ahh I love Dunkin Donuts!
While shopping for food I saw all the turkeys in the fridge. Made me sad because we used to have Thanksgiving here every year. Last year I made a roasted chicken because there was no way we could finish a turkey. It just wasn't the same. My dad was going to make one of those fried turkeys but then my mom went into the hospital. So the last time I had turkey on Thanksgiving was 3 years ago. Wow that sucks. This year we're going to Ken's house I think. Hooray for turkey! I really wanted to make Thanksgiving dinner but there's only the two of us. I've never done it but I think I would really enjoy it. I found a recipe for turkey where you roast it breast side down so that all the juices run into the breast meat. Yum!
Ok that's all for now I think. My computer keeps asking me to restart so I'm gonna go do that. Later.
