I've been playing so much Rune Factory. I want to marry all of the girls and several of the guys. :( Instead of "Jackie" or "Tucker" as per usual, I named my guy Zidane, because the way everyone is semi-SD and has long arms/big sleeves reminds me of FFIX!

Well, fwiw, I'm actually pretty sure Yamamoto didn't let them live; he "burned [their souls] away." (He's big into the KILL THEM ALL these days, which I'm sure will in no way lead to Aizen getting the soul-destruction-power he needs anyway and another Just As Planned moment. ...Actually, that probably won't happen, because something stupider and more annoying will happen instead.)

Somewhere along the line, I just got fundamentally out of sync with the way I was supposed to feel as a Bleach fan. :/ The characters I couldn't care less about (or actively hate) are the ones who get panel time / "badass" moments, and the ones I like either start acting dumb or annoying, are lucky to cameo every couple of years, or both. And then I start wondering: was Bleach ever actually good, or was I just totally on drugs without knowing it?

(The resolution of Kenpachi vs. Nnoitra was fucking hilarious, though. And I'd be lying if I said all would not be instantly forgiven if the Arrancar medic revealed that she'd regrown her head and been behind the sofa the whole time and/or Hanatarou did something cool.)
