I feel like a nimrod- in a very much pleased to be, having a great day kind of way.
I thought I had work today.
I got up, got dressed, drove all the way down there, and noticed the parking lot was completely empty.
laugh your asses off for a second, then bear with me.
I checked the calendar before I left yesterday, and all it said on the 1st was 'closed.' but since it said 'closed' on wednesday and friday too, that meant that the day was 'closed to further requests for time off' not 'closed for a holiday, hooray' which is what it usually says on our days off.
so glad I don't have to work today.
