Yay for visitors!!!

I have just had a lovely lunch consisting of frankfurters & chips, accompanied by a glass of ice cold cider! It's the simple things in life eh!
Work's been good as I have just spent the last 10 days covering the photography team as 2 of them decided to go on holiday at the same time. This basically meant I spent alot of time playing with my camera & needless to say my photography skills have greatly improved. I also had the pleasure of seeing an eagle ray swim past me in the shallows & for once I had my camera on me. The downside was the fact that I managed to get a little bit of water in my housing one morning which my camera wasn't too happy about. The camera's been dried out & is thankfully working although I may have a mark on the lens somewhere. Looks like I'll be needing a new camera when I get back to the UK. Am seriously considering switching to photography next year as I thoroughly enjoyed the week & the guy that runs the photography team is very keen for me to switch. Will see what happens later in the year as I'll be running the team as soon as I return from my little trip to the UK.
Had a busy couple of weeks with friends visiting & therefore much drinking! The folks arrived last Saturday so I've been spending a bit of time diving with Dad & generally chilling out during the daytime. Should be heading up to Dahab on Wednesday for a day or so's relaxation & shopping.
Have been doing an instructor cross over course for one of the other training agencies over the last few evening so it's been a long week.
The clocks went back an hour on Thursday night so a few of us decided to celebrate with an extra couple of hours drinking in one of the local bars. Unfortunately my toe that I broke a few months ago got jumped on, this wouldn't have been too much of a problem if it wasn't for the fact that I stubbed it rather badly on Saturday & have hobbling around ever since. Was going to do the sensible thing & have a few days out the water in a vague attempt to help it heal up. Unfortuntaly work has other ideas & the shallow relaxing dive I went for this morning ended up being a dive to 45m to investigate an anchor down there.
Will try to post my new photo's up soon (probably once the folks have left)
