artspace.

so monday i went to chestertown to talk to a realtor about finding space to open the artspace, or just to have shows a couple of weekends a month.

briefly, i pretty much sold the idea, and she got a bit enthused about it, told her co-worker, who's also a coach for some washington college team, and he really liked it. so i've got them on my side, which is good since they'll be stealing most of my money.

she's going to talk to the owner of the real estate company and see what they can do to find a decent space. all sounds good. and if we can get a good sized and efforted collective, shit will work. and even if not, being able to get a place two nights a month to have shows doesn't seem like it will be any problem at all.

so tonight i went to my grandma's. i had to pick up old volvo parts that were in her basement because someone is buying them from me. i need to go up there more. usually i get up there, plan to just pick stuff up, and end up playing guitar or looking through sketchbooks for two hours. my computer and all my music are up there.

maybe thats also why this summer seems so strange, because all of my things are there, and i forget about it. i sit around here with only one book, my moms computer, and the tv. so thats why when i have nothing to do and i'm just sitting around watching tv, it seems extra boring.

at the moment though, tv sounds good, because i dont want to go to bed, but it will tire me nonetheless. i think i'm going to make like a depressed fat girl and eat some cookies while i watch tv then pass out.
