Putting my money where my mouth is part I
Here's a photo of Rhonda with Gi Gi which is French for G.G. which is short for Grocery Getter.
Gi Gi will either be one of the best investments I've ever made, or a total waste of about $100. She's a cheap(ish) probably Chinese-made copy of the BOB Yak. I didn't just buy her for getting groceries, I also had the idea of going bicycle camping with the polliwogs. Theoretically, she can transport about four cases of wine. The question is, how far can I tow it? Furthermore, Rhonda is not the ideal bike for this task, at least not the grocery getting one. She has fat tires and is made for having fun and getting muddy. She was the best one in the fleet though, because my other bikes are gear-free. So, if all this works, Gi Gi will probably acquire a dedicated partner; some kind of touring-style bike with thinner tires.
