Dance the Saturday away

I went out alone today. First stop was Central Park in the Heelys and I have a pretty good time there. The wheels are holding out on me a bit but I worked it regardless. Saw some people from last year and danced around the Bandshell and then by the CPSCA setup (or well where it was supposed to be). Left there around 6 I think, went to the diner by me and headed home to change.

I decided I was going to go out tonight, Avalon being at the top of the list. I got to the city around 9, which was way too early so I decided to head to West 4th and see if Charlene was working at Onyx. Indeed she was, chatted for a bit and then I walked to Union Square. Watched some pretty good breakers and then went to Avalon. I was thinking I wasn't going to have a good time by myself but I was actually having a good time. I ended up getting friendly with some other dancers who were making circles.

Today in full, I have never been asked so many questions about my dancing in a day, ever. Whether it was at Central Park or Avalon I always had someone questioning me about how I learned. I know I can dance, but I really don't think I'm anything spectacular when I do. Plus the fact that I fell down earlier in the day on the Heelys (second time ever) and bruised my knee, that was acting up all day.

As expected, I'm tired, sore and aching but I believe I can say it was worth it. Tomorrow I think I'm going to crash at the apartment, get some work done too. Weather isn't supposed to be too good anyway.
