Maybe one day I'll win
First off, work has been surprisingly good for the most part. Bert is on vacation this week and Carmen quit when she came in on Monday. So it's been Henry, Manny and I. As bad as that sounds, we've made service and gotten out of the building on time for the past two days. The volume was pretty decent for it too. A possible new supervisor should be showing up next week. I don't see why he wouldn't get the job, since we are technically down two at the moment.
I wish I could talk about other things outside of work, but there's nothing really going on. Everything I think is going well, only goes well for so long and then disintegrates it seems. Like for instance, last week I had a grand time with this girl I met recently, and asked her if she wanted to do something over the weekend. She happily agreed, but then had to postpone to the day after (originally Saturday, then made Sunday). Sunday rolls around, and I get no response. She tells me Monday that she ended up in bed all day. And now, I just haven't been able to get in touch with her.
I just don't get it.
