Several months later...
... and significantly closer to the big event in October, I am doing well. At the moment, I am missing bookishfellow who is attending a conference in Wisconsin. Things are relatively slow at work this week, which is good since I haven't quite re-entered work mode after being on vacation Thursday-Sunday. We attended my college roommate's wedding where we picked up some valuable advice: plan a way for out-of-town attendants to return their tuxedos, in the likely event that the bride and groom will be unavailable when the attendants leave; avoid airbrushed french manicures; and check in with everyone who is providing a service ~ 1 week before the wedding. (Avoiding any further irreverent remarks on the photographer's untimely death and the failure of anyone to provide notification to his clients.) Attending a genuinely fun wedding increased the anticipation of my own. 107 days and counting...
