Chocolate fountains and beaded ladies...
Welcome to Macon's Bridal Expo 2004! After a swing-and-a-miss at the Home Expo (oops--wrong venue), bookishfellow and I spent yesterday afternoon exploring central Georgia's bridal wonderland... And were admittedly disappointed in the relatively few vendors who participated, as well as the lack of variety within the "showcase" presented. AND we didn't win any door prizes.
Next on the agenda was a French documentary, "To Be and To Have", the story of a rural school teacher in a one-room elementary school with students from 4 1/2 to ~10 or so. The two-hour lag time between these two events was spent at Krispy Kreme, Enigma in hand. The film was nice. Refreshing after the bridal show.
All in all, I had a good weekend.
