Disneyland
So the last few years we have headed to Disney World, but living on the west coast this year, we decided on a shorter Disneyland vacation instead. The literally all-day travel last year to WDW is just one of many reasons to try Disneyland this year. It is the original, and smaller, some rides are the same, but even then some are better they say at Disneyland Resort or DLR as they call it. I found in my research that do to the size difference there just isnt as much info out there, there are few websites devoted only to DLR and only some WDW sites have a section for it. We are going in mid-July which probably isnt the best time to go crowd-wise but it is a good time for us to go this year.
I still need to finish deciding what all we want to see, do, and eat while we are there. So I will add more later:
+Paradise Pier Hotel
+Disneyland Park (DL)
-Blue Bayou (New Orleans/Creole Food, will probably need reservations)
-Indiana Jones Ride
-Mr Toad's Wild Ride
-Fantasmic (also at HS but we always skipped it)
-Finding Nemo Submarines
-Peter Pan's Flight (suppose to be better at DL)
-Pirates of the Caribbean (suppose to be better at DL)
-Star Tours (just redone)
+Disney's California Adventure (DCA)
-Toy Story Mania
-Little Mermaid
-World of Color (we plan to skipping waiting and hope to see it from the side or our hotel)
+Downtown Disney (DTD)
-Tortilla Jo's
