Greetings from San Francisco!
The drive wasn't too bad; it only took us 6 hrs. in the convertiable. We didn't have the top down all the way there. Laura did great this time; no throwing fits. We almost ran out of gas. But we were able to find a stop with a McDonald's at it.
So we get to the Holiday Inn and get checked in. As I was watching Laura climb the stairs, Kenny came over with the key to the room. He tells me that I have to use it in the elevator in order to get to the 5th floor. I guess from my bitching out letter from the last time, we got a room on the business floor (there's an area that has computers with internet access). Nice room with a view and we got the morning paper this morning at the door!
We went to Pier 39 last night after we got settled in and took Laura for her first time at Hooters (I forgot to bring my camera so we had to go back this afternoon for a picture with the girls). For today, we checked out the Marriot (which is across the street and where we'll be at on Wednesday) and did the Aquaminuim at the Bay. That was cool! Laura and I got to touch some sting rays, sharks, and star fishes. She even got a chance to see "Nemo", "Marlin" and "Dorie".
Now we're back at the hotel for her nap. And I just had to try out the computers!
