Well, time for a new update!
This summer has been the most "unproductive" one so far - but undoubtedly, it will become one of the most memorable ones in my life. I really want to express my gratitiude to my family and my friends at NEHS, who have become almost like an extended family to me.
The top 10 most memorable events of this summer so far (in chronological order):
1. Sleep-over at Erica's after Prom. Despite all efforts, we all succumbed to the Sandman in the end.
2. Skating trips to Taipei. Two journeys and now I can hold my ground on ice! One of the new things I've experienced this year.
3. Room-cleaning epic. I finally cleaned my room, which hasn't been cleaned since I was in middle school. It took two whole days!
4. KL & Ange's birthday party. It was a great day - we had lunch together and went to watch Pirates of the Carribean 2 afterwards.
5. Rex's birthday party. We gathered at TGIF and then went bowling afterwards. Then we went to a Japanese resturant near Ching-da and went to NOVA.
6. Visit to grandparents in the south. It wasn't the most pleasant of all journeys (some paternal family problems), but I was glad to see my grandparents after a long time. [Pic shows me with cousins and maternal grandmother.]
7. And of course, the big party at 八仙 two days ago. 16 people, an packed minibus, out at 8:00 AM and home at 10:00 PM. It was wild!
8. In addition to the partying, there was a lot of parting too. I don't think I've been so close to tears since the time I dislocated my fingers in 7th grade. Sometimes I stay awake just reliving the moments in the past year...
9. All those tennis gatherings with Henry, Rex, Brian, Sarah, and KL. 3 hours, at least twice every week, we would meet regularly and play. Thanks for joining guys - it was a pleasure playing with you!
10. Well... I'll just leave that until later, shall I? :P
Or it can remain a secret forever!!!
