I take it everyone is well?
Nothing much has been happening in my little corner of the world, although my overseeing officer recently offered to send me down South in order to look into 'the current disputes regarding certain groups who are unhappy with the government.'
Does anyone else find this statement extremely vague? I told him I'd think about it.
I mean, god, 'certain groups' could entail anything between a mob of angry housewives to a terrorist organization.
I'd just ask Roy, of course, but he's becoming increasingly harder to track by phone these days. Even with the connections I have as an investigations officer, I'm still a little in the dark about what's going on down there... which naturally makes me more curious.
I might go just to get away from this horrible winter weather--shoveling the sidewalk every other day is getting old.
