wow, its been about forever since ive posted. i guess i have been really busy lately.. school everyday, work on mondays, tutoring on wednesdays, chad and IV on tuesdays and thursdays.. but thats ok, i love being busy.

only next week left in classes and then exams. i only have 3 exams to take, one paper to write and one presentation to make. overall not so bad. ive been feeling kind of stressed about it, but now that i look at it in perspective its not so bad. The paper is 6-8 pages long, and i have until the 14th to turn it in. thats a 1/2 page per day. i can handle that. and my exams are all pretty easy so, i should be good. i just cant believe the semester is already over. so what does that put me at now? one down, about 7 or 8 to go? i can do this.

next semester will be alright. here at rc im going to take 15 hours since i cant take my ed class yet... (why did i have to get only 10 ap credits?) im taking chem, earth science, old testament, life span development, and rock climbing. yes, rock climbing. one of the few sport-like activities i enjoy, and i get to use it for one of my PE credits. im also planning on taking a photography class at occ, just for the heck of it. its down in royal oak, which is nice. ill enjoy that since i have no class all afternoon on wednesday and all day friday, so it will give me something more to do with my time than sit at home all day.

So im working right now watching this little 1 year old boy. thats enjoyable. its nice having some income but not having to work 35 hours a week like when i was waitressing, yeah that was a blast, but i think i nearly killed myself doing it. lately ive been getting more hours though, which is a plus, since i had to do all my christmas shopping and im starting to really put aside money and save it. i dont want to end up finishing school with my huge loan bill and no money set aside to help me out a little bit.

speaking of christmas, i cant believe its already december. i got all my shopping done.. just finished on tuesday with chad at the village. hopefully i did a good job of picking things out that people will like. i didnt really get any ideas from people... i just tried to listen in on what people mentioned in passing that they didnt have/wish they had. My grandma just sent me over my christmas gift... money, which i used to buy myself a pair of fleece lined knit mittens and a matching hat :) i just saw today that they have been shipped, so hopefully they will be here by next saturday.

why next saturday you ask? well, let me tell you. Next saturday, im going to greenfield village with my family and chad to go ice skating for my birthday... all my friend, im finally joining you all in the 18+ group.. it seems like i should have hit that age bracket quite a while ago, im never around people my age really. but on top of it being my birthday, we're having brunch at my house. brunch is like my big holiday family dinner it seems. but the ony family there is my parents (and usually brother). its going to be really small this year, because it happens to fall on a quiz day, so unfortunately i dont get to quizmaster for it, but thats ok, because i get to eat lots of food and see a bunch of people, and have my birthday.

I think the most exciting thing for me right now though is that tomorrow i get to build a gingerbread house with chad. why thats exciting, im not exactly sure, but i love building gingerbread houses, and this year i get to build it with a really awesome guy :)

On to some amusing things. yesterday i got a fortune cookie at lunch. It said: you will spend old age in comfort and material wealth. i can live with that... now if only fortune cookies really told the truth...

well, this is about my longest entry ever, but i had to find some way to spend my time between the end of precalc and when i have to leave for work in about another 40 minutes so you all get to read whats going on in my life.
