(no subject)
its been a busy week... i started class on tuesday and it seems like itll go alright. precalc seems weird right now because its review and hes moving quickly, and we're only doing example problems, so hopefully, itll be more teaching when it comes to the stuff thats newer and do fewer problems. lol, ive read about half of the stories for comp B. so that class should be a breeze. comm basics seems easy too, not much to that class. both of those profs seem a little weird though.... the other two, new testament and science and the scriptures will be easy. you can definitely tell they are freshman courses, so i think this semester should go alright.
im finally getting my car fixed (for those of you who dont know, my brother crunched my bumper). chad's work is going to do it for me, and it will be done soon! then i can fix the other thousands of problems with my car ie) air, cruise control, cd player etc. its basically falling apart. and its only 3 years old.
friday i saw one of the sorriest softball games ever. Chad and his friend dan were the only ones really playing well. chad made some good plays :) but everyone else had a few drinks in them, so, they kept messing up. but it was still fun, i love to watch softball... im getting to the point where i really want to learn to play it... but we'll see how that works. im not really your super athletic kind of girl... but anyway, after the game chad and i went out to applebee's for dinner. it was good. and then i went to their house and helped him finish packing to move into OU's dorms on saturday...
ah yes, the moving in process. it was raining like crazy when we left. I was driving with andrea, and we actually pulled off to the side of the road at one point on m-59 because i couldnt see the lane lines, or any of the cars that i know were in front of me. but when we pulled to the side, i put on my hazard blinkers... and the rain let up just a little bit, and we noticed, we were sitting on the shoulder of the exit ramp for crooks. so we just pulled back on and took the side roads which wasnt bad. but my car was hydroplaning a little bit on the bigger puddles....
it was done raining for the most part by the time we starting unpacking everything. then the guys had to decide where to put all their furniture, find a different bed so they could bunk them, find pegs to bunk them, and put everything away. it was a long process... then they were missing two futon parts so while the greens went home to get them, we went to get brendans stuff, bring that back and then the guys and andrea and i started straightening stuff up and putting things away.
when the futon was finally put together, we had to go switch out a loft andrea was using for her own bed at the place where brendan was staying, but that didnt take quite as long. then it was off to buddys for some good pizza salad and rolls. mmm... then we went and hung out at the dorm for a while and watched the tigers.
so thats how the week went. this coming week will be awesome too. as of wednesday, chad and i will have been dating for a month. it seems crazy because it feels like ive known him soo much longer than like a month and a half... its awesome and he is awesome :) i am sooooo lucky to have him :)
